Located at 128 S Tryon St 860 Ste 860, Charlotte, NC 28202, Uptown Charlotte Smiles operates as a dentist serving Charlotte in North Carolina. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Google also lists it under cosmetic dentist, dental clinic, which is worth knowing if you are comparing several options in the area.

In Charlotte, popular practices book routine cleanings weeks ahead, so call early or ask to be put on a cancellation list; emergency and walk-in clinics are the exception. Across North Carolina, a new-patient exam with X-rays and a cleaning typically runs from about $150 to $350 without insurance, and many offices publish new-patient specials on their websites. Check the listing for hours, whether the office takes your insurance or Medicaid, languages spoken, wheelchair access and parking, then confirm by phone: insurance networks and providers change more often than the listings do.

Hours are published for 5 days a week. On most of those days it is open 7:30 am–5 pm. Note that it does not open on Saturday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (704) 342-3213. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, uptowncharlottesmiles.com.

Customers rate it 5.0 out of 5 on Google across 604 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded dentists in Charlotte.

Charlotte is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Charlotte follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I had such a great experience at Uptown Charlotte Smiles! From the moment I walked in, everyone was incredibly welcoming and made me feel comfortable. Laura, my dental hygienist, was absolutely wonderful. She was gentle, thorough, and took the time to explain everything she was doing, which made the entire cleaning a really positive experience. Dr. Moore was just as fantastic—professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. He answered all of my questions and made me feel confident in my treatment plan. Bre was incredibly helpful with explaining my insurance, going over payment options, and getting my next appointment scheduled. She made what can sometimes be a confusing process so easy and stress-free. I also really appreciated Makalyn checking on me throughout my visit to make sure I was comfortable and didn’t need anything. That extra level of kindness and attention really stood out. Overall, the entire team provided exceptional care and customer service. I highly recommend Uptown Charlotte Smiles to anyone looking for a dental office that truly cares about its patients!

The staff was very professional and I felt very confident and trusted their opinions. I have been going to the dentist for over 50 years and never has a dentist been more thorough then Dr Moore. I feel like I can trust him. I have a lot of work to be done on my teeth and I didn't hesitate in the least after my exam.

After trying a few dentists since moving to the uptown Charlotte, this is where I'll be staying. The service has been great, everyone I've interacted with has been kind and caring, I've never had to wait more than a 1-2 minutes upon arriving, and the pricing feels honest and transparent. Checks all the boxes for me and would recommend to anyone in the uptown area.

I’ve had a consistently great experience with this dental office. The entire team is incredibly efficient—they respect your time and keep everything running smoothly without ever making you feel rushed. What really stands out, though, is how kind and welcoming everyone is. From the front desk to the dental chair, you’re treated with genuine care and respect. They’re also very reasonable when it comes to treatment plans and costs, taking the time to explain options clearly and honestly. I never feel pressured, just well-informed and supported in making the best decisions for my dental health. Most importantly, their willingness to help truly sets them apart. Whether it’s accommodating scheduling needs or answering questions with patience and clarity, they go above and beyond to make sure you’re comfortable and cared for. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate dental team.
